Lula government uses public profiles to mock Bolsonaro – 06/30/2023 – Politics

Official profiles of the federal government made posts this Friday (30) that mock Jair Bolsonaro (PL), declared ineligible for eight years by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) on the same day.

The government’s Twitter profile published at 1:27 pm an image with the title “Big day” and a “thumbs up” emoji. The expression and emoji were constantly used by Bolsonaro to celebrate victories and harass enemies.

Although the government is trying to reduce the price of fuel and gas cylinders in the post, on social networks the irony was the subject of discussion throughout the day.

The first time Bolsonaro resorted to the term “big day” was when former federal deputy Jean Wyllys (PSOL-RJ) announced his departure from the country after receiving threats, in January 2019.

Another time he used the combination “great day” and “thumbs up” was the resignation of leftist Bolivian President Evo Morales, also in 2019.

A Sheet contacted the Presidency’s press office this Friday night, questioning the use of official vehicles to mock political opponents, but did not receive a response until the publication of this text.

In May, the government of President Lula (PT) had already used an official channel on social networks to mock the impeachment of Deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR), who coordinated the Lava Jato task force in Paraná.

The Government of Brazil profile used a PowerPoint image to celebrate government accomplishments, in a clear reference to the presentation by the then prosecutor, who accused Lula of leading a gang.

In September 2016, then-prosecutor Deltan gave a PowerPoint presentation, in which he presented what he called “14 sets of evidence” that pointed to Lula’s name at the center.

Secom (Presidency’s Communications Secretariat) has also made ironies about the case of jewelry in Saudi Arabia.

Three days after the first report that dealt with the BRL 16.5 million jewelry that would be sent to former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro, Secom published a series of contents, whose initial title was “Travelled out and brought some gifts ? Know what must be declared to the IRS”.

One of the slides said: “Are you entering the country as a gift for the Brazilian State?”. Below was the description that is necessary to prove effective public interest. “Didn’t you declare it? It is possible to regularize the situation by proving public ownership. Failure to regularize it can lead to the ‘loss’ of the property”, added the text.

Days later, in a campaign for the beginning of the period for Income Tax declarations, the little lion of the IRS asks “What’s up, all jewelry?”.
