Lawyer Antônio Carlos de Almeida Castro, known as Kakay, celebrated the decision of the Chamber of Deputies that confirmed the impeachment of federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR), this Tuesday (6). Together with former Minister José Dirceu, in Paris, Kakay sent a photo to his contacts making the “L” sign, in reference to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

Kakay was a lawyer for several companies and politicians involved in the investigations of Operation Lava Jato, which always criticized the works. For him, there was an instrumentalization of the Public Ministry for Dallagnol to “come to power”.

“Today, the popular house, the people’s house, puts an end to this citizen who still deserves to be investigated. Lava Jato is not over, it’s good that we think about it. It is important that we hold criminal responsibility for both Deltan and the [Sergio] I live, like those people who did this extreme evil to the country”, he said in a video, according to Politics 360.

On several occasions, the lawyer criticized the use of prize-winning collaborations in the investigation of the operation, and was one of the defenders of money changer Alberto Youssef, considered the operator of the scheme.
