Kingdom of Tomorrow is the social arm of the United Kingdom of Freedom Samba School
Manaus (AM) – This Sunday (3), at 5pm, the Reino do Ajante Institute, the social arm of the Reino da Liberdade Samba School, will celebrate the end of another year of activities dedicated to children and teenagers.
The event, which will be marked by a parade with more than 300 children and teenagers, coming not only from Morro da Liberdade, but also from different neighborhoods in Manaus.
The parade will begin with the gathering at 4pm at Praça Molhada do Cajual. At 5pm, the streets will come to life with the color and energy of the parade, led by the talented children who make up the only Junior Samba School in the North/Northeast of Brazil.
The Kingdom of Tomorrow Institute, born as a project three decades ago, initially had the purpose of training new rhythmists to join the School’s adult drums. Over time, it was realized that it could offer much more to children, going beyond the art of percussion. In addition to learning to play instruments, young people participate in seminars covering topics such as violence prevention, drug awareness, behavior, health and, of course, training for future masters, flag bearers, interpreters, dancers and other fundamental players. at a samba school.
The president of the Institute, Rita Castelo, highlights: “This parade not only celebrates the end of a year of learning and growth, but also demonstrates our commitment to providing a comprehensive education. We want to go beyond music, positively impacting the healthy and civic development of these children. We hope that the afternoon will be full of rhythm, colors and joy, uniting communities and strengthening social commitment through culture.”
