Manaus (AM) – Manaus City Hall, through the Manaus Solidarity Fund (FMS), enchanted the population of Manaus once again. This Friday (1st), the largest moving nativity scene in Brazil was delivered. The action took place on the boardwalk of the Ponta Negra tourist complex, located in the West Zone of the capital.
The inauguration is part of the 3rd edition of “Natal das Águas – Hope that is renewed”. President of the FMS, Emerson Castro highlighted the importance of this inauguration for Christmas celebrations.
“This is another Christmas attraction for the population of Manaus, to show and awaken the true meaning of Christmas to everyone who passes by. It’s wonderful to see the charm of the population, who stop and stare, enchanted by the beauty of every detail”,
highlighted Castro.
A resident of the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, Rosineide de Sousa was unable to hide her surprise when she saw the beauty of the nativity scene and highlighted the joy of participating in this inauguration.
“We took the opportunity to come for a walk and participate in this moment. I thought it was very beautiful and enchanted everyone who stopped to observe. It’s great to have this leisure option in the city, especially this Christmas season,”
emphasized Sousa.
At 18 meters deep and 20 meters high, the largest nativity scene in Brazil is made up of 19 items, including the Magi, Holy Family, angel, guiding star and animals that move around the baby Jesus, involving and enchanting all spectators.
