Justice decrees preventive detention of leaders of Flamengo, Vasco and Fluminense fans and vetoes organized for 5 years

The Court of Justice of Rio decreed, this Monday, the preventive detention for 30 days of four leaders of organized supporters following a request made by the Police Station for the Repression of Computer Crimes (DRCI). They (see names below) will answer for the crimes of criminal organization, grievous bodily harm and attempted murder.
- Anderson Azevedo Dias, president of Young Flu;
- Fabiano de Sousa Marques, from Força Jovem Vasco;
- Bruno da Silva Paulino, from Torcida Jovem do Flamengo;
- Anderson Clemente da Silva; President of the Red-Black Race.
The decision was taken by judge Ana Beatris Mendes Estrella, following the inquiry that aims to identify the possible authors of the fights between organized before Flamengo x Vasco, for the Guanabara Cup. This Monday, the clubs also face each other for the semifinal of the Campeonato Carioca.
“The evidence of authorship is the participation of those represented, presidents of organized supporters, it is evident, and it should be noted that these have already been charged in the past, in the Court of Fans, as members of organized supporters, not being sufficient, for now, the application of measures alternative precautionary measures for prison, given their commanding position within the institutions they preside over, as they hold the decision-making power over the actions of their subordinates, most of them directly responsible for the practice of the investigated acts”, says an excerpt from the decision.

The decision comes after members of the organized supporters of Flamengo and Vasco clashed before the derby for the Guanabara Cup, on February 25th. Due to what happened, the Military Police suspended Raça e a Jovem, from Flamengo, and Força Jovem, from Vasco, for 90 days. Days later, the Court of Justice of Rio decides to extend the punishment to an indefinite period.
Young Flu, from Fluminense, and Fúria Jovem, from Botafogo, were also banned from frequent sports squares after the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro determined the new removal measures and a new conduct adjustment term (TAC).
The idea of a single crowd in classics in Rio de Janeiro came up later, but was discarded.
