Júnior Favacho encourages the growth of entrepreneurship in Amapá during a visit to Expofeira – News of Brazil

Last Sunday, October 1st, state deputy Junior Favacho (MDB), President of the Agriculture and Supply Committee (CAB) of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), visited the 52nd Expofair, held at the Fazendinha Exhibition Park. During his visit, he highlighted that the event is a reflection of the current moment of recovery in the productive sector and the growth of entrepreneurship in the state of Amapá. The parliamentarian emphasized the role of his mandate in transforming the fair into an instrument for boosting the local economy and valuing rural workers.
During the third day of Expofeira, Junior Favacho He took the opportunity to visit the stands of local companies, talk to entrepreneurs and explore the animal exhibition area. He expressed his satisfaction upon observing the significant participation of the productive sector at the event, contributing to creating what he called “the biggest Expofair of all time”. In the deputy’s view, holding the fair represents an important step towards the economic transformation that Amapá seeks to achieve.
“We are here at Expofeira watching people get together, entrepreneurs doing business, and everyone celebrating this new moment that Amapá is experiencing, generating jobs, income and strengthening our production. This is exactly what we defend in the Agriculture and Supply Commission, and it is the Amapá that we aim for: a productive state, with a robust economy and care for its population. I want to congratulate everyone who dedicated themselves to making this dream come true, especially the entrepreneurs who work tirelessly to contribute to our economy”highlighted Junior Favacho.
The deputy stated that his mandate was committed to making this year’s Expofeira a success even before it took place. “Our intention was for Expofeira to be much more than just a leisure option; we wanted it to become a showcase for our products. Through CAB, we presented a series of suggestions to the State government, based on feedback from the producers themselves and on examples of success observed at events in the agribusiness sector in Brazil and around the world”explained the parliamentarian.
Some of the suggestions presented by the deputy included changing the Expofair location to a space more accessible to the general public, creating a space dedicated to discussing women’s participation in agribusiness, a thematic area to present the technologies and innovations that boost the agricultural sector in Brazil and around the world, in addition to the use of solar energy in the stands, the creation of recycling bins for the treatment of waste from the fair and even the holding of an itinerant Alap session.
During his visit, the deputy also visited the stand of Cerealista Timbiras, a company with more than 20 years of experience in the market, which sells products such as beans and corn, all produced in Amapá. The brand’s CEO, Evandro Dias, highlighted that Expofeira represents an excellent opportunity for local companies to present their products to end consumers. He shared the belief that Amapá is experiencing a new moment in the productive sector, and that this will have a significant impact on the local economy.
“I believe that today Amapá is already self-sufficient in the production of corn and white beans, something that was not a reality five or ten years ago. We are happy to be here at Expofeira, to have direct contact with our audience and to show the quality of our products. We would like to thank deputy Júnior Favacho for honoring the event and for the work he has done with the productive sector, contributing to the development of our state’s economy”stated Days.
