Amapá continues to climb the podium of the Brazilian School Games (JEB’s). This Thursday (02) three medals (one silver and two bronze) were won in taekwondo, opening the second block of competitions.
The first medal won was bronze by the athlete from Escola Estadual Gonçalves Dias, Maria Paula Andrade. The second bronze came from Ana Beatriz Carvalho and the silver was won by athlete Elizabeth Portugal, from Escola Estadual Antônio Messias.
With these achievements, Amapá has 15 medals (one gold, eight silver and six bronze). The Brazilian School Games continue with competitions until November 9th, in Brasília, and Amapá still has a chance of obtaining more medals in individual and collective competitions. The event is a qualifier for the South American Championships, which will take place in December in Chile.
