Salary Guide provides remuneration perspectives for positions in the IT area Sigmund/Unsplash Which professionals will companies look for most in 2024? And which positions have the prospect of paying better 💼🤑? Recruiter Robert Half’s Salary Guide launched this Tuesday (7) provides information on remuneration and recruitment trends for next year in eight areas of activity (read below about the methodology). At the end of the report, from the following topics, you can check the segments that lead hiring in each sector; in addition to the most sought after and most difficult to find professionals; and the technical, behavioral skills and certifications required: Engineering; Finance and accounting; Legal; Financial market; Human Resources; Insurance; Technology; Sales and Marketing. And, in the table below, the research reveals the remuneration prospects for more than 400 positions in these eight areas. Browse the table to see the salary forecast: 🧐 UNDERSTAND THE TABLE – The salary range is divided into three possibilities, the first (“starting salary”) for the candidate who is new to the job or is still developing relevant skills, and the last (“final salary”) for the most experienced professional, with specializations and certifications. Therefore, the “average salary” does not represent the average salary for that position, but rather how much, on average, a candidate considered intermediate in these qualification and experience aspects earns. The letters “P”, “M” or “G” (small, medium or large), which accompany some positions, represent the companies’ revenue. A large company, according to the research, is one with revenues above R$500 million. In the case of legal professions, the letters represent the size of the offices: Small/boutique – 1 to 30 lawyers; Medium size – 30 to 150 lawyers; Large size – over 150 lawyers 👉 HIGHLIGHTS – In the finance and accounting field, for example, one of the most sought-after professionals in the market are the so-called “controllers”, responsible for developing companies’ economic and financial strategies. The expected salary for a controller in 2024 is R$17,500 for professionals who are starting out in small or medium-sized companies, and R$41,000 for those who have a lot of experience and work in large companies. In the sales and marketing area, the list of most sought-after professionals includes commercial manager, technical sales specialist and marketing analyst. The analyst position will pay an average of R$12,900 for experienced professionals from large companies. The salary for a general manager under the same conditions should be R$78,500 in 2024. In the case of technology professionals, data engineers, information security analysts and even IT managers are among the most sought after by the market . The salary perspective for a full security analyst is R$14,100, while a generalist IT manager should earn approximately R$34,200, if they have all the skills relevant to the position. These are more subtle social and emotional skills, which go beyond technique, and can make someone a good professional. In 2024, companies will take into account, according to the research: Adaptability/Resilience – ability to overcome and reinvent themselves in the face of adversity, keeping activities running even in times of crisis; Flexibility – ability to adapt to changing scenarios, rules and demands, performing required functions in a committed and proactive way; Communication – the act of knowing how to listen and speak clearly and objectively, helping to absorb, organize and share information; Interpersonal relationships – ability to unite and positively interact with different areas, employees and departments of the company.
