Inter beat CSA by 2-1, in Beira-Rio, this Tuesday (11) in the first leg of the 3rd phase of the Copa do Brasil. Alan Patrick was the name of the match and scored both goals for Colorado, 23 minutes into the first half and five minutes into the final stage. Gabriel Taliari scored the visitors’ goal, at ten.
Colorado had a penalty missed by Pedro Henrique early on, four minutes into the game. The attacker hit the left corner, at mid-height, but the CSA goalkeeper saved it. If that wasn’t enough, to make matters worse, four minutes later, Gabriel Taliari completed a cross from the right between the defenders, the ball deflected and deceived Keiller.
Colorado fans did not skimp on booing the team several times from start to finish of the match. The 20,000 present in the stands expressed their dissatisfaction, especially when the team was behind on the scoreboard. But at 23, Colorado managed to reach a tie: De Pena received it on the left and crossed low for Alan Patrick, who left everything the same in Beira-Rio.
Luiz Adriano still wasted a chance without a goalkeeper on the way back from the break. The number 9 received a cross alone in the small area and deflected outside. But Alan Patrick saved the number 9 and turned to the hosts, in the fourth minute: Pedro Henrique advanced on the right and crossed. The defense partially cut, but the ball was left for the number 10 to make his second.
Inter had other chances to expand, but were also threatened, which greatly displeased the fans. In the end, the boos seemed deserved for what the team showed on the pitch. The second leg will be played on April 27, at Estádio Rei Pelé, at 8 pm (Brasília time). Before that, Inter enters the field for the Brasileirão and also for Libertadores.
