Donations will help more than 400 children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability
The Research and Teaching Institute for Sustainable Development (Ipeds) launched a campaign to collect school materials. Donations will help more than 400 children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability.
Glauce Galúcio, director of Ipeds and coordinator of the project “I love my neighbor – Save the Covid Orphans in Amazonas”, explains that due to the rapid proliferation of the coronavirus in the state during the pandemic, several minors were orphaned.
Relatives adopted the children, but many are in a vulnerable situation and need help to pay the expenses.
“Faced with this fact, we are running a campaign to donate school supplies (notebook, colored pencils, backpack, pen, pencil, sharpener and eraser) to contribute to the beginning of the school year for these respective children and adolescents”, says Galúcio.
Donations can be scheduled via WhatsApp (92) 99248-0221 and delivered to the Ipeds headquarters, located at Avenida Djalma Batista, nº 4836, Flores neighborhood. Help can also be made by Pix, through CNPJ 41.640.946/0001-08.
“We would like to thank you in advance for your solidarity, as your contribution could change the future of many children and adolescents”, said the coordinator of the action.
