The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) published, this Thursday (3), an ordinance establishing the Higher Education Quality Indicators for the year 2022. The ordinance shows how the calculations will be made and brings a calendar with the stages until the results are published, which will compose the official higher education statistics.

In the composition of the statistics, used as evaluative parameters for higher education public policies, the Enade Concept, the Indicator of Difference between Observed and Expected Performance (IDD), the Preliminary Course Concept (CPC) and the General Index of Courses will be considered Assessed by the Institution (IGC). Each of the four indices were released with technical notes describing their methodologies.

For the calculations of each higher education institution (HEI), the results of the National Student Performance Examination (Enade), the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem), the Higher Education Census and the Evaluation of postgraduate programs will be used. graduation stricto sensu (strict sense), from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), presented in the year 2022. The result of the calculations will be presented in two stages, in the manifestations module of the e-MEC System.

The first stage is scheduled for the period from August 7th to 16th, when the information for the calculation of the Enade Concept and the IDD will be released, in addition to the information on the Student Questionnaire, necessary for the calculation of the CPC, by undergraduate course. .

The second stage is scheduled for the period from October 18th to 27th, when the remaining information for calculating the CPC and IGC will be released.

The deadlines, at each stage, for HEIs to comment on the information disclosed will be defined by Inep, which will be responsible for communicating the dates to those involved. According to the analysis of the manifestations, the information may change.

The final results of the Enade Concept and the IDD should be released on September 10th and the CPC and IGC results on December 15th.
