Inep publishes notice with rules for Enem 2023

Applications are open from June 5th to 16th
The edict with schedule and rules for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2023 is now available for those interested in participating in the event, which will be applied on November 5th and 12th. Registration is open from the 5th to the 16th of June.
In addition to presenting exam dates and times, Notice nº 30 details the necessary documents, as well as the participant’s obligations, including situations in which the candidate may be eliminated. The registration fee is R$85 and must be paid by June 21st.
The publication by the National Institute of Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (inep) also brings criteria for correcting the tests and procedures for people who need special care during the contest, as well as guidance on the time and place of the exam.
Schedules
The access gates will open at 12:00 pm and close at 1:00 pm and the tests begin to be applied at 1:30 pm. The end will be at 19:00 on the first day and at 18:30 on the second. Time exceptions are foreseen in specific cases, in the case of participants with an approved additional time request, or with a video feature request for the test in Libras.
Entries must be made on the Participant’s Page, on the Inep portal, where other accesses indicate the schedule, tutorials and guidelines, in addition to an area with the most frequent questions from candidates. The text details how the test will be reapplied and the situations in which it can be redone, such as logistical problems and infectious diseases, for example.
The templates for the objective tests will be published on November 24 at the Inep Portal. The individual results will be released on January 16, 2024 on the same website.
Covid-19
Despite the fact that the country is no longer in a situation of health emergency due to the pandemic, the institute informs that it will be necessary to use a mask to protect against covid-19, “in states or municipalities where the use of a mask indoors is mandatory by decree or administrative act of equal regulatory power”.
The exam scores are used to enroll students in public and private universities, through the Unified Selection System (Sisu), the University for All Program (Prouni) and the Student Financing Fund (Fies).
The individual results can be used by Brazilian students interested in studying a degree at Portuguese institutions that maintain an agreement with Inep.
