The requirement for a mask against Covid-19 occurs only in the city of São Paulo, says the organizing committee of the Unicamp entrance exams (Comvest), due to an internal rule of the university, the location of the evaluation. For the other municipalities there is only recommendation. The total number of people enrolled in the exam was a record and means a 24% increase compared to the previous edition of the entrance exam. The state of Amazonas concentrates most of the applicants, with 79.7%, while the municipality with the most candidates is Tabatinga (AM), with 1,167 students. Candidates must prove that they belong to one of the indigenous ethnicities of the Brazilian territory, through the documentation indicated in the public notice. Delivery is on trial. “Among the ethnic groups declared by the candidates, the majority are Ticuna (28%), followed by the Baré (17%) and Tukano (7%) ethnic groups”, says Comvest. How are the tests? The exam will be in Portuguese with 50 multiple-choice questions and an essay – which must be produced from one of the two proposals presented by the board. The questions bring together: languages and codes (14); natural sciences (12); mathematics (12); human sciences (12). The organization’s expectation is that the abstention rate will be similar to that of previous tests, around 50%. The official feedback should be released on Wednesday (25).
