Manaus (AM) – The Law course at Faculdade Santa Teresa (FST) received top marks in the evaluation by the Ministry of Education (MEC), in Manaus. The rating of 5 in the Ministry’s evaluation report recognizes the excellence of the course and positions the institution with a high-quality educational level.

The course underwent a rigorous evaluation that observed, among other criteria, the didactic-pedagogical organization, classrooms, laboratories and library. Interviews were carried out with teachers, coordinators and students. The evaluation was carried out on the 28th, 29th and 30th of August, with a period of five days for the results to be published this week.

According to the institution’s sponsor, Maria do Carmo Seffair, the college recently graduated its first Law class, which qualifies it for evaluation and recognition by the MEC.

“Our efforts are for excellence in education. Our first Law class graduated on August 31st. According to MEC criteria, after five years of existence, the course can now be evaluated and, the first time, we achieved the maximum score. This demonstrates that we are on the correct pedagogical and administrative path, a source of honor for our institution. We work to reach an increasingly higher level and continue offering quality education to our students”,

The general director of FST, Amanda Estald, explains that the assessment is an important indicator for those who want to enter a solid degree.

The coordinator of the Law course at Faculdade Santa Teresa, Lúcia Viana, highlights the importance of the recognition of the Law course by the MEC.

“The MEC is very careful in evaluating courses and institutions. Grades range from 1 to 5. Our Law course was evaluated with the highest score. It is extremely important to be part of this historic moment in legal education, with the MEC’s ​​recognition of the quality education that Faculdade Santa Teresa offers. We aim to train excellent professionals to contribute to the development of the region. This is gratifying to us, because we are sure that we are placing qualified and competent professionals in the legal job market with these skills”,
