The program also includes a visit to the Free Trade Area of Macapá and Santana (ALCMS), which has consolidated itself in the Amapa market as the main driver of the state’s economy.

In July, the Suframa superintendent will be in Boa Vista to participate in a seminar with businessmen from that state. The last details for the action were dealt with on Wednesday (7), in Manaus, with the mayor of Boa Vista, Arthur Henrique (MDB/RR).

“Our trip to these states is precisely to expand the project and work so that they also feel the benefits of the ZFM. We need to encourage new investments in R&D and the regionalization of these benefits is the way forward”,

Arthur Henrique’s visit to the capital of Amazonas was motivated by his interest in obtaining more information about the planning of Suframa’s actions and the functionality of the new Biobusiness Center (CBA), as a prerogative for the opportunities that should arise for the benefit of the development of the states of the Western Amazon, and Roraima is one of them.

“We came to talk to the superintendent to understand this process. We are already organizing an event that will bring together businessmen from the commerce, industry and innovation segments, to present the benefits that Suframa can deliver to them in Roraima. These are important things that pave the way for the development that our state so badly needs, especially with regard to living with immigration, which is increasingly growing in the state. So, it is a time to generate jobs and Suframa will be a great partner in that sense”,

highlighted the mayor.

According to Athur Henrique, Roraima lives the expectation of an interconnection with British Guiana, to shorten paths, in addition to providing greater communication with other nations, through the Panama Canal. The objective is to generate opportunities for companies in Roraima and in Amazonas itself, with Suframa having a leading role in this matter.
