In yet another exciting game, the Sport Clube Macapá won another draw, this time with Flamengo de Guarulhos (1-1), this Monday (08), at the Estádio Antônio Soares de Oliveira, in the first phase of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior.
The first goal of the match was scored by the São Paulo club, 12 minutes into the first half, by number 11, Rikelmi. After the first goal, Macapá still tried shots from outside the area, but were unsuccessful. Furthermore, Flamengo even tried to increase the score, but did not find the net for goalkeeper Ronaldo.
The second half was the moment when Macapá grew a little more in the game, however, the greater possession of the ball continued to belong to the São Paulo club. Near the end of the match, in the 40th minute, the scorer of Azulão’s first goal in the competition, Jeremias, scored the equalizer, leaving the Amapá team alive in the competition and hoping to qualify.
With this result, Flamengo (SP) still remains as the leader of the group, with 4 points, followed by Macapá, with 2 points. The Vasco da Gama and Potyguar teams are in third and fourth position, respectively.
The round that closes Group 29 of the first phase of the Copinha will be held this Thursday (11). The first game will be at 1 pm, between Macapá and Potyguar and, at 3:15 pm, Flamengo de Guarulhos will face Vasco.
