Presenter Geraldo Luís, 52, spoke about his departure from Record TV, new projects and made a shocking revelation, in a chat at IstoÉ Gente Interview. On Saturday, Geraldo said he is addicted to zolpidem, a drug used to treat sleep disorders, such as people who have trouble sleeping.
“I am addicted and dependent, unfortunately, on this drug called ‘Zopidem’. I can’t get off this damn drug. I’ve tried everything, but I can’t. I’ve been using it for 5 years

Geraldo, who in May this year announced his departure from Record TV after 16 years, where he presented several programs, still thanked him for the time he stayed at the station.
“I am grateful to Record. They renewed my salary during the pandemic. Then it didn’t work out, but at the height of a pandemic they kept me there. Wherever I go, I will speak well of Record. My gratitude for what the house has given me will be eternal”,
he said.
