Zeca Dirceu’s mother is 83 years old and, according to the deputy, was the victim of attacks, but did not suffer serious injuries. The Paraná Military Police chose not to present details of the action, but confirmed that it continues to search for the suspects who took the deputy’s mother’s belongings. The damage left was not confirmed.

“I want to reassure people who are asking about my mother’s condition, after being the victim of attacks during a robbery this morning at our home, in Cruzeiro do Oeste. She is safe and well. Dona Clara [Becker]at 83 years old, is a very strong woman”, he commented.

The parliamentarian said he trusts the police investigation to punish criminals. “I trust the local authorities, who are leading the investigations. No municipality, no matter how small, is free from urban violence. We need to be very firm and attentive to issues involving public safety in our cities”, considered the parliamentarian.

Zeca Dirceu was leader of the PT in the Chamber of Deputies and is the son of the former minister in the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) José Dirceu.
