Uiara Amazon Resort met all the requirements and earned the Travelers Choice seal with merit
Manaus (AM) – The Uiara Amazon Resort, located on Lake Salvador, on the right bank of the Rio Negro, in the Amazon, 20 minutes from Manaus (by river), recently won the Travelers Choice seal, so sought after by competitors in the segment. The “baré” Resort already has more than 400 reviews on the website and the item “Attendance” is the differential in the opinion of guests/internet users who access TripAdvisor to report their experiences at the floating hotel.
The travel site TripAdvisor, famous for providing information and content opinions from the world of tourism, awards the best destinations in the world every year. The indications come from internet users and travelers who enjoy the most varied itineraries: outdoors, urban, beaches and among other destinations.
To be among the “best of the best”, hotels pass stringent safety and trust standards. Less than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings receive the award for the highest level of excellence in hospitality.
Basically, the Travellers’ Choice seal is awarded to establishments that have received positive reviews in the last 12 months, through the sharing of good experiences.
Tripadvisor uses a unique algorithm that considers a number of factors to select award nominees. Among the criteria evaluated are comments from travelers regarding candidate companies, number of mentions and periodicity of positive customer opinions. To maintain qualification, a minimum number of reviews is required and to be registered on TripAdvisor for the last 12 months.
The Uiara Amazon Resort fulfilled all the requirements and earned the Travelers Choice seal, synonymous with safety, comfort and excellence in the service provided by its professionals.
“Travellers’ Choice recognition is a reflection of our dedication to providing a unique experience in the Amazon. The satisfaction of our guests is what motivates us to improve our service more and more and to train our professionals even more to maintain the best service”,
said Wander Areosa, CEO of Uiara.
Uiara Amazon Resort
The Floating Hotel operates with 70 suites, all overlooking the Rio Negro and the Amazon rainforest. The packages combine luxury, comfort, safety, nature and fun in a program that includes recreation with ecotourism tours and experiences in wild nature, such as observing nightlife.
The Resort has bilingual guides, swimming pool for adults and children, bar, impeccable regional cuisine, playground and games room. There are also boats for expeditions, sport fishing and a complete structure to attend corporate events with capacity for more than 1,000 people (fairs, congresses, launches and social events).
The origin of the name refers to the legend of Iara or Yara, from the indigenous Luara, which means “the one who lives in the waters”; a mermaid (half woman, half fish) who lives in the Amazonian waters. This representation brings to the hotel the true meaning of protecting the environment. That is, in the same way that Iara protects the Amazonian waters, the Uiara Amazon Resort also seeks to convey to guests and visitors the sense of preservation of the environment, the rivers and the wonders that are found in the soil and waters of the Amazon.
