lewis hamilton revealed that he was promised a trip to space by Space X CEO Elon Musk. The company Space X announced that it would fly its first passenger, Dennis Tito, around the Moon at the end of last year.
Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin has so far reached 100 km, accepted as the altitude at which outer space begins, Musk is trying to top it.
“So I will at some point. I’ll let a few other people go first because these things blow up along the way!”
Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, according to information from Forbes on today’s date (1st).
What Hamilton said:
“Elon has been at my party in Austin for the last few years. It’s like a dinner party that I have,” Hamilton said during a fan event at the Australian Grand Prix.
“It’s not easy talking to someone like that. Because his mind is expanded. It’s on another level, you know? So I get all nervous when I’m with him. But of course I talk to him about us landing on the moon? Where is that? Shall we go next?” he commented.
“So I will at some point. I’ll let a few other people go first because these things blow up on the way! And he’s talking about going to Mars, but I’m ready to go into space any time. I told him I’d fly the ship, but I think it’s all automated,” he added.
