Is there rust in the museum? More than the name of the new project of Luciano Wieser, mentor and director of the award-winning Grupo De Pernas Pro Ar, the question brings with it an artistic provocation. This Friday (14th), at 8 pm, the catalog of the same name will be released, with free distribution, and the performance exhibition will open Scene Machines. The activity takes place at Inventário, the group’s creative headquarters located in the Igara neighborhood, in Canoas-RS. This project is funded by Pró-Cultura RS, through the Culture Support Fund of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FAC).

Rust shows the marks of time, the action of water, oxygen and, above all, it symbolizes the abandonment of our stories. Discarded and rusty objects they contain memories and are material testimonies of a people. Luciano Wieser forges a path outside conventional spaces, rescuing these objects, listening to them and freeing them to experience other possibilities, thus revealing the poetic and humanized side of machines.
