Governor of Amapá meets, in Brasília, with Minister of Integration – News of Brazil

The governor, Clecio Luis, and the Minister of Integration and Regional Development, Waldez Goes, met this Wednesday (18), in Brasília (DF), to discuss new commitments that can be made in the state.
In addition to dealing with initiatives in Amapá that already receive resources from the Ministry of Integration, Clecio Luis and waldez addressed issues such as investment possibilities for water desalination in the Bailique Archipelago, the creation of a State Secretariat for Civil Defense and the inclusion of products from Amapá in the Routes of National Integration.
“We had a productive meeting with this ministry, which is important for the Amazon, and we were received by the former governor of Amapá and now minister Waldez Góes, with a range of possibilities for partnerships with the Federal Government. We deal here with most of the projects carried out in Amapá whose resources come from the Ministry of Integration. We also talked about the possibilities of investments for the development of the state”highlighted the governor Clecio Louis.
One of the works that should receive greater attention from the federal and state governments is urban drainage, with the construction or expansion of channels for better drainage of rainwater.
“Amapá really has canals that need to be prepared, urbanized, requalified to improve the quality of life of the people and also to generate employment and income, through these works”pointed out the minister Waldez Goes.
In addition to talking to the minister and the technical team of the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development, still in Brasília, the governor clecio met with the governor of Piauí, Rafael Fonteles.
