The idea of ​​the folder is to transfer to the Union Budget the costs of the CDE that are not directly related to the energy sector. Sanitation expenses are included in the fund, for example. “One of the fronts that we should propose is that charges that are in the CDE and are not umbilically linked to the electricity sector should go through a discussion and some of them, if there is space, be absorbed by the General Budget of the Union”, he declared. The measure is included in the electricity sector restructuring project, to be presented by the ministry. Silveira did not detail when the text should be sent to Congress.
