At its annual I/O conference, in Mountain View (California), near the company’s headquarters, Google is trying to gain ground in the AI ​​market against Microsoft, which funds the creator of ChatGPT OpenAI.

GMAIL

Gmail will receive the “help me write” function, which will allow you to compose emails with a generative AI platform, similar to ChatGPT. The button to access the resource will be in the bottom menu of the new message tab.

Users will be able to request more detail in the message, by clicking on the “elaborate” option.

Google’s auto-completion function in email will also work better, according to Pichai.

DOCS

A similar function powered by PaLM2 AI will be added to Google Docs to function as a text helper. According to Pichai, the snippet autocompletion feature has been triggered 180 billion times in Google’s text editor.

GOOGLE PHOTOS

Google Photos will feature an image editor based on artificial intelligence: the magic editor. In addition to allowing clippings, collages and color and brightness adjustments, Google’s tool will allow you to change the time portrayed and move image elements.
