Edition is the 1st since the sale of the awards and the end of the Foreign Press Association in Hollywood. ‘Barbie’ and ‘Succession’ are nomination leaders, with nine each. The 2024 Golden Globe awards your favorite films and series this Sunday (7). The film “Barbie” and the series “Succession” are the productions with the highest number of nominations, with nine each. The edition, which takes place in the American city of Los Angeles, will be the first since the sale of the award to the investment company Eldridge Industries and the production company Dick Clark Productions, which took place in June 2023. The duo’s partnership dissolved the Press Association Foreigner in Hollywood, the organization that held the award and had existed for 80 years. Even so, the new owners retained much of the voting pool, which had been expanded following a series of recent scandals and accusations of a lack of diversity among members. Where to watch The award show will be shown live in Brazil on the subscription channel TNT and on the video platform HBO Max from 10pm (Brasília time). In 2023, the award returned to broadcast in the United States after a year of suspended broadcasting due to controversy. Held on a Tuesday, however, it did not find a platform in Brazil.
