The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, will give a lecture on “Democracy and Digitization” next Tuesday (6th), at FGV-SP.
One of the main leaders of the Green Party, she was a candidate for the post of chancellor (prime minister) in 2021. After the election, her party formed a coalition with the Social Democratic Party, of the current head of government, Olaf Scholz.
Baerbock is one of the main exponents of the current administration, which still has the Liberal Democratic Party.
Also participating in the debate will be the German Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Hubertus Heil, the European Union Ambassador to Brazil, Ignacio Ybañez, and virtually the Vice-President of the European Commission, Margrethe Vestager.
The event is organized by FGV ECMI (School of Communication, Media and Information), with support from the embassies of Germany and the European Union.
