The national secretary of Public Security at the Ministry of Justice, Tadeu Alencar, states that the future holder of the portfolio will have to adapt to the policies of the Lula (PT) government implemented by Flávio Dino.
He defends that the line adopted in the area of public security be maintained, with the fight against organized crime and integration with states.
“The name is what will adapt to the policy, it is not the policy that will adapt to the name”, he says, arguing that what matters is the continuity of the foundations that have guided the department’s work until now.
According to President Lula, Dino will remain in government until January 8, when an event will be held with the other Powers to mark one year since the attacks on institutions.
