The Amazonian rapper Jander Manauara shares knowledge on his Instagram

Manaus (AM) — The opportunity to turn ideas into execution is possible again. The 2023 Manaus Faz Cultura Award is open and this time includes 100 projects worth BRL 20,000 reais, in various artistic segments, with registration open until April 30, via the Concultura website (https://concultura.manaus.am.gov.br/programa-manaus-faz-cultura).

For many, the preparation of these public notices still brings difficulties that artists are not adapted to. For this reason, the manager of cultural projects, Jander Manauara, makes short videos with tips on his Instagram to help those who crave contemplation.

Over his twenty-year career, the 42-year-old rapper from Amazonas has a long career in Hip Hop, but he also has a good part of his experience dedicated to writing public notice projects. At the end of 2020, he was contemplated by the Feliciano Lana Public Notice, carried out by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of Amazonas (SEC) with resources from the Aldir Blanc Law – 2020 and through this he produced his first DVD, entitled ‘Do Rip Rap ao Floating’, released in 2021.

It was from these experiences that he decided to deepen his knowledge and is now in the final stretch of graduation in Cultural Management and Production at Cruzeiro do Sul University.

He says that with each public notice he is aware of, he decides to share tips on his social networks with dynamic and accessible language, at no cost, and generate incentives for all sectors of the arts to participate in initiatives like this one so that investment in local culture is ever wider.

“Each time an artist, group or collective signs up for a notice promoted mainly by the municipal or state departments of culture, the demand for investment in the arts increases, so the investment must be increased and it is something that the class needs to understand. Submitting your projects in notices is also an incentive. Despite the bureaucracies, it is possible to do it and that is why I share what I know, so that this elaboration is facilitated”,

says the musician and cultural producer.

Videos with tips and information for preparing projects for the public notice available have already started to be published on the official Instagram: @jandermanauara and will continue with publications until the end of March.
