Franchise partners from Paraná are elected the most promising in Brazil

Mateus Bragatto (30 years old), Mateus Queiroz (29) and Sérgio Kendy (30), founders of The Best Açaí, a self-service açaí and ice cream franchise from Paraná, joined the Forbes Under 30 list as the most promising entrepreneurs from Brazil aged up to 30 years. The partners gained prominence in the Retail and E-commerce category due to the trajectory they traced.
The Forbes Brasil magazine platform released the nominations, made by committees of experts and journalists from the publication, last Friday. In July this year, the brand, which is part of The Best Group, received the Best Franchises in Brazil 2023 Award with the 5 Star Seal, given by Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios magazine, from Editora Globo, in partnership with Serasa Experian.
With six years of activity, The Best Açaí has 240 stores with a network of franchisees and multi-franchisees, one of the business’ differentiators in the opinion of the CEO, Sérgio Kendy.
In addition to The Best Açaí, which currently has 500 stores in nine states, The Best group also has Amadelli Alimentos, and AmaFruta, an açaí line aimed at retail.
In September this year, Amadelli recorded record sales of R$2.6 million sold in just one day at The Best Açaí franchises. In the first half of the year, the brand reached 2.35 tons of açaí and ice cream production.
