Flávio Dino suspends regional profiles of the PF and PRF after invasion in SE

Minister Flávio Dino, of Justice, ordered the suspension of the regional profiles of the Federal Police and the Federal Highway Police on social networks, this Thursday (29), after the invasion of one of them in the state of Sergipe.
The measure was announced in the morning for a “security analysis”, due to a post on the PRF profile asking for donations in PIX for former president Jair Bolsonaro.
“In view of the alleged invasion of the PRF regional profile in Sergipe, including changing the password, I am ordering the suspension of the PF and PRF regional profiles for security analysis, with only the national profiles remaining on social networks. As for the removal of the criminal post from the air, the PRF is taking steps in progress. An investigation will be launched to ascertain the facts,” said the minister in the twitter.
The PRF stated that the publication in the profile of Sergipe’s superintendence took place during the early hours of the morning and forwarded victims to a page for transferring values ”where the coup takes place”. “The Federal Highway Police clarifies that it does not ask for donations of any kind to public persons or political parties”, he added in a note.
At the end of the morning, Dino published the letter determining the suspension on social networks, covering the profiles on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin, and others. “Only the national profiles of the Federal Police and the Federal Highway Police remain active and valid”, quotes the document.
Dino also determined a period of 30 days for the bodies to analyze the “convenience, opportunity and safety of such regional profiles, sending their conclusions to the Ministry of Justice”.
During this period, says the minister, the management of websites, blogs and institutional social networking platforms will be centralized in the coordination of communication between the two bodies.
