Candidates will have three days after their pre-selection to complete the registration on the program’s website (available here). What is Fies? Fies is a program to finance tuition at private higher education institutions, based on the score of the National High School Examination (Enem). Attention: unlike Prouni, the program does not offer scholarships, but a “loan”. After completing graduation, the candidate must pay off the debt, in installments proportional to his income. Who is a priority in Fies? In addition to the Enem score, the Fies system also considers the following order of priority when selecting approved students: I – Candidates who have not completed higher education and who have never joined Fies. II – Applicants who have not completed higher education, but have already benefited from student loans (with all debts paid). III – Candidates who have already completed higher education and have not benefited from Fies. IV – Candidates who have already completed higher education, through Fies, with all debts paid.
