Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks) formalized this Friday (22) a request to join the Chamber for the Promotion of Legal Security in the Business Environment, created by the AGU (Attorney General’s Office) to improve regulatory discussion and reduce litigation in the country.
The federation appointed as representatives the executive director of Legal Affairs, Luís Vicente Magni De Chiara as a member of the board and the legal manager of the Legal Affairs Directorate, Eduardo Augusto Marcondes de Freitas, as an alternate.
The chamber, created on the 15th, will have representatives from bodies of the AGU, the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association), and entities that represent economic sectors, workers and civil society. The idea is for everyone to discuss legal topics considered relevant to the business environment and ways to prevent and reduce litigation.
The group will also be able to formulate diagnoses and map regulatory challenges to improve the institutional framework in the country’s business environment.
