Medical examinations, carried out this Sunday (4), ruled out the possibility of head trauma in former deputy Roberto Jefferson. He, who is in prison, was transferred to a private hospital in Rio de Janeiro by order of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF). The information is from the newspaper The globe.

The defense asked on Friday that Jefferson be allowed to take tests outside of prison after he collapsed in his cell and fell. The medical report sent to the STF by the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat, after Moraes’ request, indicated a depressive condition and a loss of 16.5 kg in seven months.

In the decision that authorized the transfer of the former congressman, Moraes imposed precautionary measures such as banning visits without court authorization, use of cell phones, access to social networks and granting interviews. The former congressman has been in preventive detention since October last year after firing 50 shots and throwing grenades at Federal Police agents who went to his house to serve an arrest warrant.
