Manaus (AM) – Estrela do Norte won, for the fifth time in history, the Amazonense Futsal Championship in the Adult Female category. The club will represent Amazonas in the 2023 Taça Brasil. The decision for the 2022 season took place on the night of January 23, at the Poliesportiva Arena Amadeu Teixeira, in Manaus.
The victory was against Grêmio da Amazônia, which ended the score with 3 to 1. The tricolor took the lead, with a goal by Tainá Barbosa in the 13th minute of the first half. But Estrela do Norte, with Fernanda Firmo in goal and with the quartet formed by Amanda Reis, Nairelis Rodriguez, Dyessica Lima and Larissa Brito, had an excellent match. The tie came in the 18th minute, in a great goal by Nairelis Rodriguez.
In the second half, the team from São José 3, East Zone of Manaus, did not give Grêmio room to breathe and expanded with Dyessica, in the 2nd minute. The “coffin” was closed in the 19th minute, when Larissa Brito perfectly took the penalty and left to embrace the crowd that filled the stands of the Arena Amadeu Teixeira.
The 2022 Amazonense title was Estrela do Norte’s fifth state in this category. The club led by the brothers Cleudvan Lopes (president) and Claudinei Lopes (honorary president) had already lifted the 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2021 trophies.

The champion cast was formed by the athletes Fernanda Firmo, Larissa Brito, Nairelis Rodrigues, Amanda Reis, Beatriz Silva, Dyessica Lima, Vitória “Suco”, Geovanna Fernandes, Emelly Teles, Gabrielly Souza, Amanda Lemos and Monike Monteiro.
