Erotic presentation at Ministry of Health event angers opposition

Presentation took place during an event held by the MS on the National Health Promotion Policy (PNPS)

An erotic presentation during the 1st Mobilization Meeting for Health Promotion, promoted by the Ministry of Health, became the target of the opposition this Friday (6). The material was recorded on Thursday (5), the second day of the event, which continues until today.

On stage, a dancer performs while another person sings. The choreography, however, does not seem to have any relationship with the theme of the event. The meeting seeks to debate the implementation of the National Health Promotion Policy (PNPS) in Brazil.

The president of the PP, senator Ciro Nogueira, reacted to the video. “Shocking how ideology contaminated the PT 5 government! It’s a Primary Care seminar from the Ministry of Health!”

“Is that what primary care is? Is this what saves lives in a system that the WHO ranked 125th? The identity termite is eating away at the government from within. And real Brazil is shocked by all this”,

added the senator.

Representative Rodrigo Valadares, from União Brasil, also expressed his rejection of the video. “Look at the level Brazil has reached. This is the 1st Mobilization Meeting for Health Promotion in Brazil and the presentation is immoral, all financed with YOUR money”, criticized Valadares.

Ministry of Health admits error

This Friday, the Primary Health Care Secretariat of the Ministry of Health issued a statement regretting the “inappropriate choreography” of one of the artistic groups that performed during breaks at the event. Read the full note below:

“The Primary Health Care Secretariat of the Ministry of Health promoted the 1st Mobilization Meeting for Health Promotion in Brazil (In Prose). The objective of the event is to support the implementation and participatory management of the National Health Promotion Policy by sharing experiences and expanding dialogue between managers and workers from different states, with moments dedicated to cultural diversity.

The program featured the participation of seven artistic groups during their breaks. One of the presentations was surprising due to its inappropriate choreography.

The Ministry of Health regrets the isolated episode, which does not reflect the Secretariat’s policy or the purposes of the debate on health promotion held at the meeting, and will adopt measures to ensure that it does not happen again”.
