Unified Selection System will open applications on February 16. Program considers Enem scores to select students from public universities in Brazil. Consultation of vacancies on the Sisu page John Pacheco/g1 The 2022 National High School Examination (Enem) scores were released last Thursday (9). Until February 16, with the opening of enrollment for the Unified Selection System (Sisu), candidates will be anxious: will they have achieved sufficient performance to be approved at the university? To get a sense of their chances, students can take a look at course cutoffs from previous years. Below, the g1 lists which were the 10 highest and 10 lowest in Sisu 2021 (data for 2022 has not yet been made available). Before that, let’s summarize the selection process here: Based on the Enem 2022 scores, Sisu 2023 will select students for public universities. When registering, the student must select two options. In each one, you need to indicate the course, the shift, the educational institution and the modality (wide competition or quotas). Throughout the registration period (from February 16 to 24), interested parties can change their options as many times as they want. Each day, the system will calculate a partial cut-off point for each course, based on the performance of those who have enrolled up to that point. Understand more here. The rankings below only consider cutoff scores for broad competition. Check out: Sisu 2021 cutoff notes – 1st semester Sisu 2021 cutoff notes – 2nd semester What to do with the Enem score? Afterwards, it is necessary to select whether you want to participate in the broad competition or quotas mode. Finally, you need to monitor, each day, the partial grade for those courses. If you want, you can change your choices (the last option selected during the registration period will apply). Enem: see 7 things you can do with your grade 📚 Private institutions There are private institutions of higher education that use the Enem grade in the selection process or that offer discounts on tuition starting of the candidate’s performance in this examination. Rules and dates vary from university to university. 📚 International Universities Enem’s note also allows the candidate to study at a college outside Brazil. MEC has agreements with institutions from countries such as Portugal, England, France, Ireland and Canada. In some cases, the institution may require the applicant to go through the local selection process. International universities generally follow different calendars from those used in Brazil.
