The event aims to distract students studying for exams
Manaus (AM) – Entrance candidates are already counting down the days until the Amazonas State University (UEA) and National High School Exam (Enem) exams. To alleviate this moment of tension, the tip is to focus on moments of leisure and entertainment to relax and organize your mind for the marathon of tests that will take place in the coming weeks.
For Abraão Cypriano, 18 years old, who, since last year, has had a busy study routine, the moments with friends and family helped him bring lightness to his preparation for the test.
Furthermore, the student at the Vetor course also focuses on sports as an escape valve.
“I have loved playing basketball and it has relieved my anxiety and helped me sleep better,”
said Abraham.
The young person’s study routine begins at 7am at the course, with a lunch break, and continues until 7pm. “My goal is to pass the Medicine course at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM)”,
said the Vetor student.
To help students, the course seeks to include moments throughout the preparation that promote “Decompression”. This week, young people left the classroom environment and participated in another edition of the event that brought together music, humor and knowledge.
The event featured DJ Layla Abreu, comedian Márcio Braga, and teacher and study mentor Fernanda Leal. During “Decompression”, entrance exam candidates also participated in chemistry experiments with Vetor teachers and tested their knowledge with dynamics and scavenger hunts on subjects that could be included in the UEA test.
“We seek throughout the year to create these interactions with students, this is already part of Vetor’s methodology, it teaches them to relax and ease the burden of demands”,
said the general director of the course, Solian Rocha.
She calls this moment “conscious rest”, which is nothing more than necessary breaks that prevent mental exhaustion. Taking a few moments out of the day to do something you enjoy brings comfort to your exam preparation routine.
Maintaining an organized routine, with planning, practicing physical activities, cultivating a hobby, having an adequate diet and quality sleep are some ingredients towards approval and that should be part of the life of the entrance exam candidates.
