Employers of the ‘S system’ plan to have dinner with Zanin – 06/08/2023 – Panel

The president of the National Council of Sesi, Vagner Freitas, organizes a dinner next Thursday (15) between representatives of employers and lawyer Cristiano Zanin, appointed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to the STF (Supreme Court Federal).
According to him, there are negotiations to hold a second meeting with state companies. The idea is that everyone can present their guidelines to the lawyer. “We want to show who we are and what we do. Just exchange ideas,” he says.
Freitas, who is a former president of the CUT (Central Única dos Trabalhadores), denies that the convescote is a sign of support for Lula’s choice, with whom he is a friend. “We are not voters, we just respect the decision that comes from Congress”, he says. But he points out that among the guests there is sympathy for Zanin.
For the time being, the legal directors of entities in the S system and state-owned companies should be invited. According to Freitas, the idea is to guarantee a technical character to the conversation.
