On April 19, just before National Choro Day, celebrated on April 23, the São Paulo-Santa Catarina duo releases the album Chorando emfront with nine standards of the genre. On the album, recorded by Jorge Lacerda in Florianópolis (SP) and mixed by JG Júnior in Brasília (DF), Félix Júnior (seven-string guitar ace) and Tom Cykman (guitarist with a touch influenced by jazz) play choros like Quem tempo (Pixinguinha, 1934), Cochichando (Pixinguinha, 1944), Doce de coco (Jacob do Bandolim, 1951), Eu quer é sossego (K-Ximbinho, 1952), Dangerous (Orlando Silveira and Esmeraldino Sales, 1957) and Recipe for samba (Jacob do Bandolim, 1967). The repertoire selection of the album Chorando emfront also includes Chorando Baixo (Abel Ferreira, 1942), Ingênuo (Pixinguinha and Benedito Lacerda, 1947) and Chorinho na gafieira (Astor Silva, 1953).
