Duo Grenal faces teams from the Northeast; Brazil-Pel and Ypiranga take quarries

A draw held this Wednesday (29) at the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), in Rio de Janeiro, defined the matches for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. There are 32 teams in contention, fighting to advance to the round of 16.
12 clubs now enter the competition, joining the 20 that survived the first two stages. The round-trip duels will take place between April 11th and 27th and will still have their specific dates established.
The Grenal duo will face teams from the Northeast in this phase. While Grêmio will start the duel visiting ABC-RN, in Natal, Inter receives CSA, from Alagoas. With that, gremistas decide the vacancy at home and the colorados in Maceió.
The other two gauchos weren’t very lucky in the balls and will have quarries ahead. Ypiranga will face Botafogo, deciding the vacancy in the return game in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil, on the other hand, faces Atlético-MG and the first match will be in Minas, with that the decision will be in Bento Freitas, in Pelotas.
Current champion, Flamengo will play against Maringá, starting the dispute in Paraná. Vice in the last edition, Corinthians will face Remo and decide the dispute at home. Palmeiras will face Tombense, with the first match in São Paulo.
Santos and São Paulo will have São Paulo clashes. The alvinegra formation will face Botafogo, a confrontation that will start in Ribeirão Preto. The tricolor association will receive Ituano before fighting for classification outside its domains.
