During the leader’s race, Domitila fell and sprained her foot. She had to be taken by ambulance for outpatient treatment. In the program, Tadeu Schmidt explained that she went to receive medical attention. The miss returned at dawn on Friday, the 3rd, to the house and complained of pain in her foot. The timeframe for full recovery is not yet known.

The volleyball player ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee in October last year. The team preferred a conservative treatment, with physiotherapy, without the need for surgery.

— My sister manages to carry on with her normal life without the surgery. She feels uncomfortable, but continues. They did not opt ​​for surgery because of the intensity of training. And it wasn’t mandatory in this injury – explains to EXTRA Key Alves, sister of the confined.

At the time of the injury, Osasco (Key’s team) said that she would have the surgery, but would miss half of the season in 2023.

Christian

A professional crossfitter, Cristian had to adapt his training in the second half of last year after being diagnosed with a herniated disc. The athlete was also doing physical therapy and had to take medicine for a while to ease the pain. The injury is also curable, but it is necessary to monitor it throughout life.

“Giving up was never an option”, said Cristian, who even won Crossfit competitions after the injury and thanked the professionals who helped in the preparation.

The fighter already comes from a series of injuries. The most recent was also on the knee. Unlike Key, Shoeface went into surgery. He even made a text on social networks to explain the reasons that led him to stay out of the season completely.

“I had been suffering from a partial ligament injury in my knee since the first fight this year, but together with my team and physiotherapist, we did everything to continue the season as champion, just like the last one. playoffs, but unfortunately there was a complete tear of the ligament along with a meniscus injury, so the only option would be surgery.”

Antônio Cara de Sapato began to suffer from injuries in 2018 when he suffered a tear in his pectoral muscle. In 2020, he broke his knee ACL.
