Manaus Vôlei receives Joinville for the fourth round, in an unprecedented duel
Manaus (AM) – This Saturday (11), the Ninimberg Guerra gym will host the dispute between Manaus Vôlei/TecToy against Joinville in the men’s volleyball Superliga B. The event is promoted by the City of Manaus, through the Manaus Sports Foundation (FME) and will be the debut of the gym after revitalization.
The space underwent recent renovations in the structure and already serves as a training site for the Manaus team. Starting at 7:30 pm, Manaus Vôlei will host Joinville, for the fourth round, in an unprecedented duel between two new teams in the national competition. Admission is free to the general public.
Another special ingredient marks the match: the meeting between the victorious coaches and former players: Talmo Oliveira, from Manaus Vôlei, and Giovane Gávio, from the team from Santa Catarina, were Olympic champions together, with the shirt of the Brazilian National Team, in 1992.
The confrontation is also a direct dispute for position in the leaderboard. Manaus Volleyball is sixth, two points behind Joinville, fourth. The top two from Superliga B guarantee a place in the elite division of national volleyball in the 2023/2024 season.
