The advance will be according to the timetable already in each region. In other words, if in a given city the agencies start operating at 10am, they will start at 9am. If the usual time is 11am, the opening will be at 10am. And so on. According to the institution, 273,550 outstanding contracts from 215,216 customers have already been regularized through Desenrola. The total value negotiated reached R$5 billion. The bank announced that, in addition to Desenrola, it will provide services this Wednesday for: negotiation of FIES (Student Financing Fund) debts; and settlement of Minha Casa, Minha Vida contracts for those who receive the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) or Bolsa Família. Banco do Brasil BB branches will also open an hour earlier this Wednesday. The bank informed that there will be more than four thousand points with extended opening hours to serve the Desenrola public. According to the institution, 2.5 million customers with debts between R$5,000 and R$20,000 are eligible for installment payments. Itaú Unibanco Itaú stated that it will maintain its digital channels with 24-hour service. Physical branches, however, will operate during “regular operating hours”. The bank said it will promote renegotiations with customers in Desenrola’s band 2 (people with income of up to R$20,000) through its service channels. For customers who fall into bracket 1 (gross monthly income of up to R$2,640 or registered with CadÚnico), the procedure will be carried out through the official Desenrola platform. “Additionally, the bank also has a service and support cell exclusively dedicated to customers of the Desenrola program”, informed the institution. The account is free and available to all Brazilians. Registration is done directly on the federal government portal.
