Work that will positively impact the lives of Amazonians

Manaus (AM) – A project that will positively impact the lives of Amazonians and, above all, will speed up the logistics of companies located in the Industrial District. This is how the president of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam), deputy Roberto Cidade (UB) defined the work on the Rapidão Rodoanel Interchange, the largest in the city, inaugurated this Monday (15), in the East zone of the capital. Accompanying Governor Wilson Lima (UB), the parliamentarian toured all the areas of the complex, which covers 245 thousand square meters.

“This road intervention that is being carried out, integrating the entire city, will relieve traffic on the central roads, but, mainly, it will bring benefits to our Industrial Pole, where more than 80% of our State’s economy is concentrated, giving more agility in the transport of goods and inputs”,

said City.

The president of Aleam also recalled the investments that have been made by the State Government, in the capital, both directly, by the State Secretariats for Infrastructure (Seinfra) and Urban and Metropolitan Development (Sedurb), and by the Project Management Unit Special (UGPE), as well as through agreements with the city hall.

“The major works are happening in our capital because they have resources from the Government of Amazonas, like fairs, for example. The majority of the resources for these works, more than 90%, come from the State. And this happens because Governor Wilson Lima is a manager who thinks about people and wants to improve the lives of our population”, he highlighted, remembering that the municipal Executive has already received more than R$ 850 million in transfers from the Government to renovate fairs, squares, as well as for Asfalta Manaus and the construction of the Bola do Produtor and Avenida das Torres road complexes. “In all these works, the strong signature is that of Governor Wilson Lima”,

Rapidão Rodoanel interchange

Located on Avenida dos Oitis and Alameda Cosme Ferreira, the interchange is part of the second stage of the Rapidão Rodoanel, considered the largest integrated urban mobility project in Amazonas.

With an investment of R$ 18.4 million, the complex’s structure has eight loops, four internal and four external, and lanes 10.80 meters wide with three lanes in each direction, in addition to two parallel bridges with a height of six meters.
