Representative Márcio Jerry (B-MA PC) decided to fire an employee from his office who made pro-Palestine posts and mocked Hamas victims on his social networks.
Sayd Tenório commented on a video of an alleged woman kidnapped by Hamas, saying that the stain she had on her pants was a “shit mark”.
On his social networks, he also made posts in defense of the Palestinian people and condemning aggression and violence committed by the State of Israel.
“In view of a comment on social media made by Sayd Marcos Tenório in a post referring to a photo of a woman attacked by members of Hamas, I express my total disapproval and vehement repudiation”, stated the deputy, later, in a note.
Jerry said, this Tuesday (10), that he ordered Sayd’s dismissal from his staff at the Chamber.
“This is obviously an absolutely individual position, which I do not agree with, on the contrary. I reiterate my position of repudiation of the Hamas group’s attacks on Israel, as I also repudiate Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian people, defending yet another the celebration of much-needed peace”, says the deputy.
The employee had been appointed in the Chamber since at least 2013 and was currently assigned to the Committee for the Defense of the Rights of People with Disabilities, chaired by Jerry.
