Invited to the post of corregidor of the Federal Police superintendence in São Paulo, delegate Tânia Fogaça had her name barred by the current general direction of the corporation, commanded by Andrei Passos.

There was no formal explanation why she was disinvited, but colleagues attribute the retreat to the fact that she had already worked in the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) administration, as director general of Depen (National Penitentiary Department), and because of her proximity to the former minister. of Justice Anderson Torres, arrested after the attacks on the headquarters of the Powers on January 8.

The Panel sought out the Federal Police, which declined to comment.

Still according to people from the police, the delegate’s performance investigating the case of the so-called “PF dissidents” during Lava Jato would also have been used as a reason to disinvite her.

In 2014, the “dissidents” would have prepared a dossier denouncing the bias of investigators in the operation against the PT.

In the material released there were messages from Lava Jato delegates on Facebook criticizing the PT and praising the PSDB and its then presidential candidate, Aécio Neves. At the time, Tânia was part of the Federal Police’s internal affairs department.

In 2016, she asked for the indictment of a delegate, two agents and two lawyers, including Augusto de Arruda Botelho, the current national secretary of Justice, who represented the construction company Odebrecht and was accused of having bought a dossier with information against Lava delegates. Jet. The inquiry was closed without evidence of corruption being presented.

In December, Flávio Dino, Minister of Justice, withdrew from appointing Edmar Camata to the position of director general of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) after learning that he had been an enthusiast of Lava Jato and former minister and current senator Sérgio Moro (União Brasil-PR).
