David Almeida achieves 80% approval rating in his administration, according to research

Research by Instituto Projeta, points out that administration approval reaches its best number during the current administration
Manaus (AM) – New research released this Monday (16), shows the mayor of Manaus, David Almeida (Avante), consolidated in the leadership in search of his re-election, with increasing voting intentions among the electorate: 22.45% spontaneous and 37, 22% in stimulated. A survey by Instituto Projeta shows that administration approval reaches a peak of 80%.
The institute had obtained 9.92% in the spontaneous and 36.93% in the stimulated survey for the head of the municipal Executive, in June. In the first survey, David Almeida leads in all scenarios, first and second rounds.
In second place in the survey, federal deputy Amom Mandel (citizenship) appears, with practically 20 percentage points behind the mayor: 2.82%, in the spontaneous and almost 8 percentage points behind Almeida in the stimulated, with 29.42%, according to the new survey numbers.
In possible second round scenarios, David Almeida wins in all simulated voter clashes, David 49.64% x Amom 41.57%, David 61.35% x Menezes 20.81%, David 66.51% x Roberto Cidade 15.34% and David 66.51% x Captain Alberto Neto 15.34% in comparison of possible clashes.
Growing approval
The positive numbers in Almeida’s voting intentions reflect the growing approval of his administration, which is in its third year in office and has works to deliver to the city at the end of 2023.
In June, those who classified the municipal administration as good and excellent totaled 49.3%, an indicator that rose to 82.92% considering the regular concept. In the current study, good and excellent reach 50.98% and 85.88% with regular.
Rejection
Another favorable indicator for the mayor of Manaus, captured by the second Projeta survey this year, was the reduction in rejection, which was already small. It fell from 7.72% in June to 7.40% now in October. In the same interval, Ammon’s, on the other hand, practically doubled, from 4.23% to 7.67%, therefore now higher than the mayor’s own.
Methodology
Instituto Projeta heard, in person, 1,955 voters this month of October, considering all the statistical criteria of the electorate in the capital of Amazonas, regarding, for example, gender, age group, education and income. The margin of error is 2.22%, with a reliability index of 95%.
