The National Congress Bill guarantees payment of the minimum payment of BRL 4.7 thousand for nurses, BRL 3.3 thousand for nursing technicians and BRL 2.3 thousand for nursing assistants and midwives. Deputy Dorinaldo guaranteed that the measure does not cause loss in the private sector or in philanthropic health institutions.
The PLN guarantees the transfer of public resources to pay the minimum wage for nursing in the public network and also for professionals in private hospitals that provide care to at least 60% of patients in the Unified Health System (SUS). Dorinaldo informed that President Lula already has R$ 11 billion allocated for the payment of the nursing floor in the country, now in April, and provides another R$ 17 billion for May.
Yesterday, the Health Commission approved the bill from the National Congress signed by the President. As the legal elaboration is on an urgent basis, it soon goes to a plenary vote of the Federal Chamber, where the approval is taken for granted because, according to the deputy Dorinaldo Malafaia, there is no resistance to matter, with little exception. The PLN will no longer pass through the Senate of the Republic.
