Wife of Daniel Alves, Joana Sanz returned to the catwalks this Saturday, in Madrid, in the midst of the turmoil that she is experiencing in her life. After losing her mother, her dog, the bulldog Coco, and seeing the player arrested for a report of sexual assault on a 23-year-old girl, the model walked the runway on the second day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
With green sequined pants, animal print bodysuit and green fur jacket, Sanz showed a radiant smile and a confident step on the Spanish catwalk for the Lola Casademunt brand, with which she has worked several times in Barcelona.
Joana showed off another outfit, this time all blue, with a sequined bodysuit. Gradually, she is resuming the career she has been building since she was 17, when she participated for the first time in the Supermodel of The World contest. On social networks, the model did not hide the happiness of returning to work.
Her return to public life comes in a crucial week for Daniel Alves: he awaits the Barcelona Court’s final decision on whether he should remain in prison or whether he can await trial on parole. It would have been known this Thursday, but it was postponed to Monday or Tuesday.
The model has not spoken openly about the charge against her husband since his arrest. The Spanish press ensures that she filed for divorce, but she ended up making a deal with his lawyers to keep up appearances until he is tried and the sentence is handed down. The last time Sanz spoke about it was after visiting the player in prison. “I’m not going to leave you alone at the worst time of your life,” she said at the time.
Daniel Alves has been arrested since January 20 in Barcelona and, among the evidence that weighs against the player, there is the result of a DNA test that proves the athlete’s semen on the victim’s clothes, as well as fingerprints in the bathroom of the place. The side also already told four different versions of the events that happened in the night, while the victim kept the same version of the events.
