The 23-year-old girl, victim of rape in the Daniel Alves case which is on trial in Spain, told the judge responsible for the case that she is currently keen to receive compensation for the damage caused, the request is for compensation of 150 thousand euros to victim (R$799 thousand).

According to information from the Spanish press, the refusal to receive compensation was initially due to the fact that at the time he did not understand all the negative consequences of the crime in his life. The Brazilian is awaiting a date for the trial, which is expected to take place by the beginning of 2024.

The Public Ministry of Spain ordered the sentence for Daniel Alves to be sentenced to nine years in prison, in addition to the request for compensation of 150 thousand euros to the victim (R$ 799 thousand).

REMEMBER THE CASE

A woman, whose identity was not revealed, accused Daniel Alves of rape at the end of 2022. He allegedly sexually assaulted her in the bathroom of the Sutton nightclub, in Barcelona. Since January 20, 2023, the former Brazilian national team athlete has been imprisoned in Spain.

In a new statement, the victim said that Daniel Alves forced her to perform oral sex on him, grabbed her by the neck and slapped her. Furthermore, he allegedly pulled down her dress and forced her to have sex with him.

The player continues to deny the accusations and claims that the relationship was consensual. Regarding the new testimony, Daniel Alves’ defense did not speak publicly.
